Crowd Funding for Work Rights Matter
On 12 October 2017, Work Rights Matter created a crowd funding page through www.chuffed.org which promotes social enterprises. The campaign ended on 1 November 2017. Click here for the link to the crowd funding site.
The crowd funding was to raise funds to:
(1) move Work Rights Matter from a private to a non-profit status; and
(2) to advertise and create social media platforms for Work Rights Matter. (This will raise greater awareness of the resources available on the Work Rights Matter website.)
Regrettably the crowd funding fell short and we received only $1000 via the site and received $100 commitments direct. We have also received advice from a number of individuals that they would send in donations directly.
Our intent is to build a `shop' on this website in order to raise funds for Work Rights Matter but this is likely to take some time. Be assured that we are doing everything possible to accomplish the work we have ahead of us!
Please note that all those undertaking work for Work Rights Matter do so on a volunteer basis.
Please support our campaign to raise funds by giving generously.
